Underpinning

When we first come to assess your property and talk about your vision for your new Retreat Room, we often find that to gain the extra head height that is required we have to extend your buildings foundations - a process known as 'Underpinning'.

Underpinning is the process of strengthening, stabilising and extending the foundations of a building to support a completely new basement space or to extend the existing foundations to give the extra head height which is required.

Our structural engineers are experts in designing individual structural support plans that will maintain a building's structural integrity.
